They'll be accurate and reliable.I think $1,599 is a lot for a quartz movement watch (Concord), but I also don't think gold plating (RW) is a good idea except for occassional wear. Once the plating wears off...As a line, I think Concord is more jewelry and higher priced. RW is more reasonable. Baume and Mercier is in a good league with them, so I'd look at them. Ebel is a good name, but you must get a healthy discount. If so, does this change the value or make it a potential collectors item? I have found the 18kt Concord Saratoga with a diamond bezel for roughly the same price without the additional diamond bracelet on this particular item and felt that it may be a decent value. As you eloquently stated, it seem to "flip my wife's chicken", which is what matters most.
